On-Board Battery Charger

The on-board battery charger is a DC charging device mounted inside the electric vehicle, and transfers an AC input into a DC output to supply a reliable charge to your EV.

The on-board charger is designed with a wide DC output range of 200VDC-450VDC, 250VDC-650VDC and 300VDC-750VDC (adjustable) to meet various voltage and charging requirements.

The on-board charger allows users to charge their electric vehicle so long as there is a reliable power socket, because it is a movable charging pile that features a compact structure, an excellent cooling performance, and outstanding insulation effects.

Applicable for all types of electric vehicle on-board DC charging.

Advantages
  • Wide input voltage range: 90V-264V, designed with input surge protection, and each charger module has power of 3.3kW, 6.0kW or 20kW
  • The system uses DSP (digital signal processing) control technology, and is 100% numerically controlled from input to output
  • Input THDI < 3%, input power factor reaches 0.99 and overall efficiency reaches 95% and above;
  • Wide output voltage range: 200-750VDC (adjustable): suitable for meeting different charging requirement voltage demands
  • Low DC ripple causes minimal effects on battery lifespan
  • Standard CAN communication interface configuration allows for easy data transferring with external devices.
  • The on-board battery charger is equipped with input overvoltage protection, undervoltage alarming, output overcurrent and short circuit protection functions;
  • The on-board battery charger is equipped with a 13.8VDC auxiliary power supply to support the BMS (battery management system).
