Sicon has significant experience in the charging station field. Over the years, we have provided charging stations for customers in various industries all over the world. We have solved issues such as long charging times and capacity limits. You will see some of the cases we have completed in the following sections.
Project time: 2024
Location: Hong Kong, China
In 2024, our skilled engineers completed the installation and setup of 26 DC charging stations for an EV Charge Point Operator in Hong Kong. This project included 12 wall-mounted and 14 floor-standing chargers, placed in various convenient locations.
These new charging stations make it easier for electric vehicle owners in Hong Kong to find reliable places to charge their cars. By adding these chargers, we are helping to solve the problem of limited charging spots and supporting the growth of electric vehicles in the city. This project shows our dedication to providing top-notch technology and excellent service, benefiting both the operator and EV drivers with a better charging infrastructure.
Project Time: 2023
Location: Germany
In 2023, one of our clients in Germany needed to install a DC fast charger at their factory but lacked access to a power supply. To solve this, we provided an off-grid solution using a mobile energy storage system. The factory installed an EV charger powered by our mobility energy storage system, GRES-300-200. This energy storage system stores energy from a photovoltaic (solar) power plant and then releases it to the charger, providing electricity for electric vehicles.
This innovative solution allows the factory to operate a high-speed EV charger without relying on the grid, showcasing our commitment to flexible and sustainable energy solutions. This project not only addresses the client's needs but also promotes the use of renewable energy in EV charging infrastructure.
Project Time: 2022
Location: Denmark
In 2022, Denmark adopted electric city buses in response to government policies promoting green transportation. As part of this initiative, 20 of our EV chargers were installed across six cities, including locations at company headquarters, alongside highways, and in city centers.
We provided 180kW DC chargers with dual CCS2 connectors, allowing each charger to power two buses simultaneously. This setup ensures that the buses receive the green energy they need for daily operations, supporting Denmark's shift towards sustainable public transportation.
Project time: 2018
Project place: Many cities in China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, and so on.
Project introduction: POTEVIO is the biggest charging operating and service provider of new energy vehicles in China. As the core supplier of POTEVIO, Sicon supplied large amounts of 30 kW~180 kW charging facilities to meet their requirements of operation management. We maintain a close partnership.
Project time: 2015~2018
Project place: Shijiazhuang, China.
Project introduction: Sicon supplied many sets of 360kW DC charging facilities for Yinlong Energy, which can meet the daily charging demand of 30~60 buses in a single car park. An electric bus can be fully charged in 10 minutes and can drive up to 200 km on a single charge, fully ensuring the daily operating demand of city buses.
Project time: 2016
Project place: Shanghai, China.
Project introduction: Shanghai Etauto super charging station, whose operating objects are mainly new energy buses and logistics vehicles, adopted many pieces of Sicon 240 kW outdoor charging stack equipment. Each charging stack is equipped with 8 charging terminals to provide 24-hour uninterrupted charging service for logistics vehicles.
Project time: 2015~2018
Project place: Shanghai and Beijing, China.
Project introduction: In many residential charging station construction projects in Shanghai and Beijing, Sicon provided 7 kW single phase AC charging stations and 15 kW, 30 kW, 60 kW DC charging stations for the charging of electric vehicles. The reasonable distribution of fast and slow charging facilities ensures the basic charging demand of vehicles in residential areas.
Project time: 2016
Project place: Shanghai, China.
Project introduction: The power supply capacity of original energy storage charging station was only 190 kVA. That was far from sufficient for the support of high power fast charging demands of new energy vehicles due to the extension of charging facilities. Sicon allocated 1000 kW energy storage UPS systems and 1.5 MWH lead-carbon battery banks to meet the customer’s practical requirements.
Project time: 2016
Project place: Hangzhou, China.
Project introduction: Sicon develops split type AC charging products which can realize centralized electricity supplying for many parking lots with only one charger. This mode can match the charging demand of vehicles in the XIZI Parking stereo garage. Each set of Sicon AC charging station can serve 8 vehicles simultaneously and can communicate with the stereo garage controller to finish vehicle parking and picking up, which is more convenient for the end user.
